Begin your day with a visit to St. John in Latheran, which was the first Papal residence in Rome. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you then move to the lovely Baptistery of St. John, restored to its formal glory. Inside the chapel of St. John Baptist is decorated with a mosaic from the 5th century. Walking along the Via San Giovanni in Laterano, you then stop at the Saint Clemente's Church known to have existed as early as the 3rd century AD.
