Rome Wine Tasting

Wine a little during your trip to Rome! Step into the Palazzetto Giangiacomo, an 18th-century building, for a wine tasting experience that you are bound to relish. Bring along your special someone, family, or friends to the Enoteca, or a traditional wine bar, and sip on wines produced by leading wineries in the country. During the tasting, you will learn how to taste and drink wine and also learn about the nuances of Italian wine. When you step in, you can start off by sipping on Bellone, a rare, white wine that pairs beautifully with locally-made ricotta. Then, there is the Frascati Superiore, a white wine that is commonly had in Rome. This one is served along with Pecorino Romano, a hard cheese that is salty and is produced in Lazio. This will be followed by Nero Bruno, that is produced from an antique variety of grapes, grown in the Cori region in Italy. This red wine is brought to the table with Roman beef jerky or a spit-roasted pig.
