Your first stop of the journey is Edam, commonly referred to as the pearl of the Zuiderzee. Medieval streets and charming canals in Edam are lined by beautiful 17th-century buildings, including the Carillon tower. After a quiet stroll around the medieval town, you’ll have the opportunity to see how Edam’s world-famous cheese is made and taste it in a typical cheese farm.
