The Humans

**STORY** Breaking traditions, Erik Blake brings his family together to celebrate Thanksgiving at his daughter's lower Manhattan apartment. However, as night falls the tensions within the family reach a saturation point and the characteristics of the Blake clan are exposed. Pulitzer finalist Stephen Karam's brilliantly written, The Humans, exposes the large echoes in something as minuscule as small talk. The characters lives are intertwined in a network of pride, secrecy, luck, and misplaced trust. With their quirky family rituals and ever-present fear, the innate simplicity of the family is depicted with intimate sympathy. **CRITICS REVIEWS** "A haunting, beautifully realized play, quite possibly the finest we will see all season...
